Brenen Thompson May 5 5:28pm ET
    Brenen Thompson

Los Angeles Chargers rookie fourth-round wide receiver Brenen Thompson was compared to speedy former Miami Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs wideout Tyreek Hill by head coach Jim Harbaugh, according to Kris Rhim of ESPN. New Chargers offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel, who coached Hill in Miami, was advocating that the Chargers take the former Mississippi State speedster in this year's draft. He stands at 5-foot-9 and 164 pounds and will be the lightest player on the Chargers' roster, but he'll also be their fastest player after running a 4.26-second 40-yard dash at the NFL combine -- the third-fastest time by a WR since 2003. Thompson had an SEC-leading 1,054 receiving yards in 2025, which set the single-season school record at Mississippi State. Hill was a first-team All-Pro in his first two seasons with McDaniel, and he had a career-high 1,799 yards and 13 touchdowns in 2023. Thompson has also been compared to former Eagles receiver DeSean Jackson. Thompson's speed is enticing, but he'll be competing for targets in L.A. in a crowded WR room that also includes Ladd McConkey, Quentin Johnston, Tre' Harris, and Derius Davis. Most likely, the 22-year-old will operate in a part-time role in specific packages in 2026 in which the Chargers can utilize his game-changing speed.

Dante Fowler May 5 5:27pm ET
    Dante Fowler

Veteran edge rusher Dante Fowler Jr. is signing a one-year deal worth up to $5 million with the Seattle Seahawks, per Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network. Fowler Jr. spent the 2025 season with the Dallas Cowboys, recording 10 QB hits, four TFLs, and three sacks across 17 games (11 starts). The 31-year-old has recorded 58.5 sacks across 159 career NFL games since entering the league in 2016. With Seattle, Fowler Jr. will likely play a rotational role as a pass rush specialist behind starting Seahawks defensive ends DeMarcus Lawrence and Leonard Williams. While his numbers were down a bit across the board in 2025, Fowler Jr. is not too far removed from his 14 TFL, 10.5-sack 2024 campaign with the Washington Commanders in 2024.

Stefon Diggs May 5 5:03pm ET
    Stefon Diggs

Free-agent WR Stefon Diggs (Patriots) was found not guilty on Tuesday, May 5, of felony strangulation and other criminal charges stemming from a dispute with his personal chef.

Fantasy Spin: Diggs had a comeback season with an 85-1,013-4 line that ranked him the WR16 in PPR fantasy leagues. He'll turn 33 in November, but has yet to sign with a team for 2026. That could change soon, so keep tabs on his status. Diggs is at least draftable based on his name value and steady fantasy production.

    From TheHuddle

Travis Kelce May 5 5:00pm ET
    Travis Kelce

Despite some speculation that he might retire at the end of the 2025 season, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce remains atop his team's depth chart heading into 2026. The 36-year-old is no longer the player he once was at his peak, but he still turned in a productive season with 76 catches for 851 yards and five touchdowns on 108 targets across 17 games in 2025. Kelce's fantasy value is closely tied to the health of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes (knee), who is currently making his way back from knee surgery. Mahomes is expected to participate in OTAs, which could mean he's on track to be fully healthy by Week 1 of 2026. As long as he has his quarterback, Kelce looks like a good bet to put together another top-12 tight end season in PPR-scoring fantasy leagues. His uncertain future beyond 2026 limits his dynasty upside, but Kelce remains an appealing win-now option at the tight end position.

    D.J. Moore May 5 4:50pm ET
    D.J. Moore

The Buffalo Bills made a big splash at the wide receiver position early in the offseason, acquiring veteran pass-catcher DJ Moore from the Chicago Bears. Moore is coming off a relative down year in Chicago, as he hauled in 50 receptions for 682 yards and six touchdowns on 85 targets across 17 games. 2025 was Moore's first season seeing fewer than 118 targets since his rookie year with the Carolina Panthers in 2018. However, the 29-year-old should see less target competition in Buffalo than he did in Chicago, where he was competing with wide receivers Rome Odunze and Luther Burden III, as well as tight end Colston Loveland. With the Bills, Moore profiles as the clear WR1 ahead of complementary wideouts Khalil Shakir and Joshua Palmer. It's possible that age-related decline was the reason for Moore's down year in Chicago, so he carries some risk for dynasty managers. Still, Moore's dynasty stock is rising following his offseason change of scenery.

Derrick Henry May 5 4:40pm ET
    Derrick Henry

Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry turned in yet another excellent fantasy season in 2025, recording 1,595 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns on 307 carries across 17 games. The seemingly ageless 32-year-old has now played in all 17 contests in three consecutive years and has logged at least 12 rushing touchdowns in seven out of his last eight seasons. Henry should dominate carries in Baltimore once again in 2026, and could have the benefit of playing next to a fully healthy Lamar Jackson all year after Jackson missed four games due to injury in 2025. Henry's PPR value is limited by his complete lack of receiving work, as he's recorded fewer than 20 receptions and 200 receiving yards in both of his seasons with the Ravens. He's also bound to face some age-related regression at some point, given that he could approach 3,000 career NFL carries in 2026. Still, Henry is in a great position to rack up rushing yards and touchdowns in Baltimore. For win-now dynasty managers, Henry remains a high-level running back option.

Ladd McConkey May 5 4:30pm ET
    Ladd McConkey

After topping 80 catches and 1,100 receiving yards as a rookie in 2024, Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey turned in an underwhelming sophomore campaign in 2025. Across 16 games, the 24-year-old hauled in 66 receptions for 789 yards and six touchdowns on 106 targets. The Chargers will have a new play-caller in 2026 in former Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel, who could help McConkey rediscover his rookie-year magic. Former Chargers wideout Keenan Allen also remains unsigned, and his absence would likely allow McConkey to spend more time in the slot in 2026. Los Angeles does have other capable pass-catchers in wide receiver Quentin Johnston and tight end Oronde Gadsden, as well as 2025 second-round wideout Tre' Harris and 2026 fourth-round wideout Brenen Thompson. Still, McConkey has the highest upside of the bunch and should be the lead target-earner in McDaniel's revamped offense. In dynasty formats, McConkey could be a solid buy-low target entering 2026.

    From RotoBaller

Ryan Flournoy May 5 4:20pm ET
    Ryan Flournoy

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Ryan Flournoy emerged as a steady complementary contributor in his second NFL season in 2025, finishing the year with 40 receptions for 475 yards and four touchdowns on 56 targets across 16 games. The 26-year-old took advantage of an early-season injury to star Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, recording 11 catches for 158 yards across the three games Lamb missed. With Lamb and George Pickens atop the wide receiver depth chart in Dallas, Flournoy looks to be stuck as his team's WR3 entering 2026. As long as both Lamb and Pickens are healthy, Flournoy's fantasy production ceiling is limited. However, Pickens is currently signed to the franchise tag and remains without a long-term extension in place in Dallas, putting his future with the team in question. Should the Cowboys decide to move on from Pickens either during or after the 2026 season, Flournoy would be in line for a significant role increase. In dynasty formats, Flournoy might be worth stashing for his long-term upside.

Micah Parsons May 5 2:40pm ET
    Micah Parsons

Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst said on Sirius XM NFL Radio that All-Pro pass-rusher Micah Parsons (knee) is expected to return "early in the season." Gutekunst also said that Parsons is "a little bit of a freak" and that he's "doing really well." Obviously, Parsons is a big part of the Packers' plan going forward on defense after they sent two first-round picks and defensive tackle Kenny Clark to the Dallas Cowboys for Parsons before the start of last season. The 26-year-old five-time Pro Bowler and three-time first-team All-Pro selection was on pace to set a new career high in sacks in 2025 in his first year with Green Bay before tearing his left ACL late in December against the Denver Broncos. Parsons still managed to finish with 41 tackles (19 solo), 12.5 sacks, 12 tackles for loss, 27 QB hits, and two forced fumbles in 14 games played. Because Parsons' injury occurred so late last season, fantasy managers in IDP formats should expect him to miss the start of the 2026 campaign. Still, the former 12th overall pick will be rostered in all IDP formats as a high-upside sack artist at defensive line.

Tucker Kraft May 5 2:30pm ET
    Tucker Kraft

Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst said on Sirius XM NFL Radio that tight end Tucker Kraft's (knee) rehab from a torn right ACL is "going great," and he's expected to return "early in the season." Kraft was on his way to a career breakout in 2025 before tearing his ACL, catching 32 of his 44 targets for 489 yards and six touchdowns in eight starts. Gutekunst said in mid-January that the 25-year-old was ahead of schedule in his recovery, so barring a setback during training camp this summer, it's safe to assume that he'll be ready for Week 1 of the 2026 regular season. Kraft is entering the final year of his rookie deal, but the Packers have already engaged him in talks on a potential long-term extension. Despite tearing his ACL in 2025, Kraft is expected to be a big part of Green Bay's offense again this year, making him an easy top-10 fantasy TE. Right now, RotoBaller has Kraft as the No. 6 overall player at his position.

Calvin Ridley May 5 2:00pm ET
    Calvin Ridley

When asked about Tennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley's (leg) place in the offense after the additions of Wan'Dale Robinson and rookie Carnell Tate, new offensive coordinator Brian Daboll said, "It's good to have him here," according to Nick Suss of The Tennessean. "We've changed some stuff as we've gone, but he's smart. He's a good player. He's a good teammate. I've got a lot of appreciation and love for Rid," Daboll added. Ridley played in only seven games in 2025 due to a fractured fibula, but before his injury, he struggled with drops and finished with 17 catches for 303 yards and zero touchdowns. The 31-year-old veteran just never seemed to be on the same page with rookie quarterback Cameron Ward before his season-ending injury. Ridley has a history with Daboll, but the additions of Robinson and Tate are bad news for Ridley's fantasy value in both redraft and dynasty formats. Second-year wideouts Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike will also be looking for bigger roles in Tennessee's passing attack.

Isaac Guerendo May 5 1:40pm ET
    Isaac Guerendo

The Athletic's Vic Tafur writes that San Francisco 49ers running back Isaac Guerendo, who was a fourth-round pick in 2024, "seems like he is buried" and will be "looking for a new team." The 49ers say that they will be looking to give Christian McCaffrey fewer touches in 2026, which is why they drafted rookie Kaelon Black in the third round. The Niners also have Jordan James, Patrick Taylor Jr., and Sincere McCormick in their RB room, leaving little playing time left for Guerendo. Black is expected to compete with James for the No. 2 role, so the 25-year-old Guerendo figures to be the RB4 in San Fran right now, at best. Guerendo carried the ball 84 times for 420 yards (5.0 yards per carry) and four touchdowns while adding 15 receptions for 152 yards through the air in 16 regular-season games (three starts), but he didn't see a single carry in 14 regular-season contests in Year 2 in 2025. He appears to be the odd-man out, making him a cut candidate in dynasty/keeper leagues going into the 2026 campaign.

    From RotoBaller

Jalen Nailor May 5 1:30pm ET
    Jalen Nailor

The Athletic's Sam Warren writes that the Las Vegas Raiders like wide receiver Jalen Nailor to "take a big leap in a more featured role" in 2026. Nailor will be a starter alongside Tre Tucker and Jack Bech after signing a three-year, $35 million deal in free agency in March. The 27-year-old former sixth-round pick by the Minnesota Vikings in 2022 out of Michigan State showed flashes with the Vikings, but his fantasy value was always capped as the No. 3 with the Vikes behind Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison. Nailor had a career-high six touchdowns in 17 games in 2024 and caught 29 passes for a career-high 444 yards and four touchdowns in 17 games in 2025 in his final season in Minnesota. He'll be reunited with former QB Kirk Cousins to start the 2026 campaign in Vegas, and there is plenty of opportunity since the Raiders didn't address the receiver position in this year's draft. At the very least, Nailor will be in play as a weekly WR4/flex in redraft leagues for the upcoming season, while his dynasty stock has more long-term upside as he begins to work with No. 1 overall pick Fernando Mendoza.

    From RotoBaller

Cedric Tillman May 5 12:30pm ET
    Cedric Tillman

The Cleveland Browns added rookie wide receivers KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston in the 2026 NFL draft, which makes The Athletic's Zac Jackson wonder if the team will eventually look to trade Cedric Tillman this summer. In addition to adding younger competition, the Browns are installing a new offense under head coach Todd Monken. Jackson lists Jerry Jeudy and Concepcion in the top tier of Browns wideouts, followed by Boston and Isaiah Bond in Tier 2. In Tier 3, he lists Tylan Wallace, Malachi Corley, Tillman, and Jamari Thrash. The Browns are hoping that Bond can take the next step with a full offseason, and Boston is a true outside receiver like Tillman. The Browns' major commitments are to Jeudy and the two rookies, which means, as of right now, Tillman might be the WR5 in Cleveland. The fact that Tillman doesn't contribute on special teams hurts his cause even more. The 26-year-old former third-rounder in 2023 out of Tennessee is entering the final season of his rookie deal and is coming off a season in which he caught just 21 passes for 270 yards and two touchdowns in 13 games. Tillman has failed to get going in his three NFL seasons, making him a cut candidate in dynasty leagues if he stays with the Browns.

Emmett Johnson May 5 12:20pm ET
    Emmett Johnson

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has compared rookie fifth-round running back Emmett Johnson to former six-time Pro Bowl RB LeSean McCoy, according to Grant Gordon of NFL.com. Reid believes Johnson can contribute on the ground, as a pass-catcher, and on special teams. "First of all, he's got a good feel for things, a smart kid, good kid. He's got that lateral quickness. We had LeSean McCoy here for a bit, and he has a little bit of that to him, where he can shift gears and still get himself up the field quickly," said Reid, who coached McCoy with the Philadelphia Eagles and for a season with the Chiefs. Kareem Hunt and Isiah Pacheco are both gone, but the Chiefs added Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III, Emari Demercado, and Johnson to a RB room that still includes Brashard Smith. Johnson was the sixth RB off the board in the 2026 NFL draft, but he was first in the FBS in 2025 with 151.8 all-purpose yards per game. He also had a career-high 1,451 rushing yards and 370 receiving yards at Nebraska last year. Because of his three-down skill set, if anything were to happen to Walker, who has a history of lower-body injuries, Johnson could benefit right away in 2026. Consider the 22-year-old a dynasty sleeper and a handcuff to Walker in single-year fantasy leagues.

Alvin Kamara May 5 12:10pm ET
    Alvin Kamara

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara (knee) doesn't appear to be planning to retire this offseason, according to Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football. "I'm excited to see what we can do together," Kamara said of new RB Travis Etienne Jr. Rumors surfaced earlier this offseason that Kamara was considering hanging up his cleats after a career-worst season in 2025 that ended early due to a knee injury. The 30-year-old veteran and five-time Pro Bowler played in only 11 games and finished with a career-low 471 rushing yards and only one touchdown while catching a career-low 33 passes for 186 yards on 39 targets. The Saints signed Etienne to a four-year, $52 million deal in free agency, signaling that Kamara's eight-year run as the organization's clear-cut RB1 is over. Etienne has a very similar three-down skill set and is nearly four years younger than Kamara, with a lot less wear on his tires. If Kamara remains with the Saints going into the 2026 regular season, his fantasy value is going to take a massive hit in a complementary role.

Ty Simpson May 5 12:10pm ET
    Ty Simpson

The Los Angeles Rams surprised everyone in the first round of the 2026 NFL draft when they selected former Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson with the 13th overall pick. SEC coaches acknowledged that Simpson's profile "has some clear concerns," but another SEC coach said that "it's a great fit for him from a system standpoint." "There's a lot of similarities [with Michael Stafford]. [The pick] was the biggest [surprise], a guy who didn't have a ton of starts, but when he played, he played well. His long game is going to be really good." Simpson only had one season of starting experience at Alabama in 2025, so he's clearly not ready for a starting role at the next level. The good news is that in L.A., behind Stafford, Simpson won't be pressured to start right away, and he could end up sitting and learning for two years until Stafford decides to retire. Fantasy managers in dynasty/keeper leagues will be playing the long game if they select Simpson, who is in excellent hands with head coach Sean McVay.

    From RotoBaller

Carson Beck May 5 12:00pm ET
    Carson Beck

The Arizona Cardinals took former University of Miami quarterback Carson Beck with the first pick in the third round of this year's draft because of his big-game experience, arm strength, size (6-foot-4, 220 pounds), accuracy, toughness, and intangibles. Beck enters a QB room in Arizona that already includes veterans Jacoby Brissett and Gardner Minshew. New head coach Mike LaFleur said that "it won't be the worst thing" for Beck if he "ends up sitting for part or all of his rookie season." That won't be anything new for the 24-year-old, who was a backup at Georgia for his first three seasons, including sitting behind current Los Angeles Rams backup QB Stetson Bennett in 2022. "It benefits anyone in any position to be able to sit back," LaFleur said. "Sometimes, guys don't have the choice because you have to put your best 22 out on the field there." The Cardinals have some maneuvering to do with Brissett's contract this year, but that should be taken care of, and he's fully expected to start under center in 2026 after a career season in 2025 in Arizona. Beck has plenty of long-term upside as a dynasty target in fantasy, but he won't be on the redraft radar at all.

    From RotoBaller

Devaughn Vele May 5 11:50am ET
    Devaughn Vele

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Devaughn Vele entered this offseason as one of the biggest sleepers in dynasty fantasy football. In his final four games of 2025, Vele had caught 19 passes for 239 yards and one touchdown. He averaged 12.2 points per game in PPR leagues during that span, ranking as the overall WR21. It seemed like he might be a breakout candidate in 2026, but that trajectory came crashing down as the Saints added two receivers in the NFL Draft. Now, Vele is behind Chris Olave and Jordyn Tyson on the depth chart, and he could also end up behind rookie Bryce Lance, who has the speed necessary to fill a Rashid Shaheed-esque role in New Orleans. It's a disappointing development for managers who acquired Vele at a low cost this offseason. With that said, he's still worth holding in deeper leagues, as he's proven that he can handle volume. This Saints' offense is quickly trending up, so he could still get onto the WR3/flex radar if Olave or Tyson were to miss any time.
