Bryce Elder threw 5 2/3 scoreless innings to drop his ERA to a NL-best 1.81 and Mauricio Dubon laced a three-run double to help the visiting Atlanta Braves post a series-clinching 7-2 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday afternoon.

Elder (4-1) allowed one hit while striking out eight and walking four for the Braves, who finished 6-3 on their road trip. Drake Baldwin and Matt Olson connected on solo home runs as Atlanta improved its MLB-leading record to 28-13.

Justin Wrobleski (5-1) went 8 2/3 innings for Los Angeles, yielding seven runs on seven hits while striking out seven and walking one. Max Muncy hit a two-run homer for the Dodgers, who managed just two hits and struck out 10 times.

Atlanta struck first in the second as Austin Riley, Michael Harris II and Eli White strung together consecutive singles to give the Braves a 1-0 lead. Three batters later, Dubon's double cleared the bases to extend the margin to four.

After breezing through 5 2/3 innings, Elder faced his first trouble of the afternoon when he walked Freddie Freeman, Andy Pages and Kyle Tucker to load the bases. Robert Suarez replaced Elder and gave up a deep fly to right by Muncy, but White made a leaping catch at the wall.

The Braves added an insurance run in the eighth when Baldwin connected on his 10th homer of the season, an opposite-field blast that made it 5-0.

In the eighth, Tyler Kinley allowed Tucker's two-out walk and Muncy's two-run homer -- a 420-foot shot that cut the Dodgers' deficit to 5-2. Atlanta got the run back in the ninth as Olson hit his 14th homer of the season.

Wyatt Mills, pitching in the big leagues for the first time since 2022, relieved Wrobleski with two outs in the top of the ninth and allowed Jorge Mateo's RBI single.
